PokéBonk Beta 0.7.1 fixes the purple overlay on move lists and stops level-up cards opening full move sheets on hover. Full move numbers are now read in the pause menu. The original announcement is dated 18 October 2026; we reviewed it on 19 October. These are two specific interface fixes, not a replacement for every recorded move rule or item value.

PokéBonk Beta 0.7.0 restores important map markers, adds paid item choices and changes repeated Meowth purchases, while improving recovery, controls and mobile play. The original project dates this release 18 October 2026; we read its published notes on 19 October. Earlier patch explanations remain below, with changes that have since been superseded identified explicitly.

Beta 0.7.1 — 18 October 2026

Purple screens over move lists are fixed

The notes fix a purple screen covering See all its moves and Still to get. These are move-list overlays; the announcement is not a general fix for every white, black or missing 3D scene.

Check the version below the game’s logo, then reopen the affected list in 0.7.1. If the purple overlay still obscures the list, note which of the two panels you opened, your browser and the version before reporting it. For an active run, record its state before using a reload: the troubleshooting steps distinguish a blocked list from lost graphics and result recovery.

Move sheets no longer appear on level-up hover

Hovering a level-up card no longer opens the full move sheet. That is intentional in this patch. Pause the run (default Esc or P) and inspect Moves for the learned move’s full numbers and details instead. On touch controls, use the pause button. A card’s short description is still useful for making the immediate choice; the absence of the old hover sheet does not mean the move is locked or its damage became zero.

While an upgrade choice is open, Tab still lets you inspect your team; live-play Tab remains the non-pausing map preview. See the move-detail instructions for the distinction between inspecting a learned move and checking a future learning requirement.

Source: the original 0.7.1 configuration and announcement and corresponding public runtime, reviewed 19 October 2026. The original release date is 18 October. The targeted comparison retains the earlier Lab, League and starter-learning records; it does not claim a new full playtest or a fresh measurement of every value.

Beta 0.7.0 — 18 October 2026

Important objectives return to the map

The guardian altar, shrine and portal are shown on the large map again, reversing the earlier 0.6.0 change for those objectives. The patch also adds map marks, a north-up minimap and a live map preview while you hold Tab during play. The preview does not pause the run, so keep moving and watching for danger. Use the large map when locating the next objective; an old instruction that all three must remain hidden until explored no longer matches this version.

In Classic, standard paid item Poké Balls now offer a choice between three items, subject to the eligible item pool. The checked runtime keeps the single-item path for Survival and free/special item balls. These are item rewards, separate from throwing a ball to capture a League member. Compare the offered effects with the moves and survival problem you actually have; the Bulbasaur build gives concrete item relationships.

Meowth raises prices when you buy heavily without opening item Poké Balls. In the checked runtime, this additional purchase-pressure multiplier applies to Classic; Survival returns a multiplier of one for this rule. Check the displayed price before another purchase rather than assuming an earlier shop price will remain fixed. This is an item-economy change, not a change to permanent Lab prices.

More ways to preserve an interrupted run

The notes announce fewer mobile crashes, Continue without image when the rendered scene is lost, and automatic handling of a result when the connection fails at the end of a run. The original lost-image message distinguishes continuing with the minimap from reloading, which ends the run and saves its earnings. It does not promise to resume the interrupted battle after a reload. Follow the graphics and result checks for the state you actually see.

The patch also fixes bosses whose health did not decrease, shiny Pokémon disappearing after more than three captures in one run, and Pokémon remaining displayed as Poké Balls. These are specific announced fixes, not evidence that every failure or rejected result has been resolved.

Inspect a move or your team before choosing

Each move now has a details panel with damage, cooldown, range and the upgrades that affect it. A glossary explains terms. Press Tab while choosing an upgrade to inspect your current team without abandoning that choice. During live play, hold Tab for the separate non-pausing map preview.

The checked starter kits and learning prerequisites remain consistent with the retained 0.6.3 records: the same signature levels, current-form/ancestor rule, donor typing and free-slot checks still apply. The runtime changes vitamin-card weighting and fills short offers with eligible vitamins, which can change the final card mix. This gives no fixed appearance chance for a named move; the 35%/50% candidate gates in the move guide are still not final named-move probabilities.

Controls, accounts and first-run help

  • Remapped keys now persist, the controller dead zone is adjustable, Y toggles automatic Ultimate, and WASD works again in Firefox. Follow your current bindings and click inside the game before checking a keyboard problem.
  • Settings → Account adds options to change a trainer name, start over or delete the original-game account, and registration accepts names in any language. These controls belong to the original project; inspect their prompts before making a change.
  • The first Lab visit has a guide, the first three runs have tips, and mobile interface elements are more compact. These additions do not change the 19 retained Lab upgrade effects or recorded prices.

Source: the original 0.7.0 announcement and configuration and current public runtime, read 19 October 2026. The targeted comparison found the 19 Lab definitions/costs, 79 League records and signature levels unchanged, alongside the same starter evolution formulas and ordinary League-capture thresholds. This comparison does not relabel the saved 0.6.3 dataset or its 18 October source date.

Beta 0.6.4 — 18 October 2026

Fewer legitimate runs sent for review

The notes say fewer legitimate runs are incorrectly sent for review, especially when played with a poor connection. This refines the result-review behavior discussed in 0.6.3. It does not guarantee a particular run’s acceptance or leaderboard position: earned progress, an accepted result and a ranked score remain separate states.

If you are checking a result, use the same identity and inspect the game’s message and run history before changing browser data. Follow the result checks if the state is unclear.

Hide corner items and keep the minimap clear

Open Settings → Interface to hide the corner item display. The patch also prevents a long build from covering the minimap. This affects the HUD’s presentation; hiding the display does not remove the items you acquired. If a crowded item list blocks your view, use this setting instead of abandoning the build.

Safari audio returns after changing windows

The original notes say sound resumes automatically when you return to the game from another window in Safari. This is a specific browser/window-return fix. If the game remains silent, click or tap inside the player and inspect the game’s audio settings; report the browser and the action that caused the silence if it persists.

These three changes come from the original 0.6.4 version-history entry. They do not announce new evolution thresholds, move requirements, capture rules or Lab prices. Those reference pages retain their identified 0.6.3 source checks rather than receiving an automatic version-date change.

Beta 0.6.3 — 18 October 2026

Recovered runs should no longer be rejected by mistake

If your browser closed or a connection interruption ended a run, reopening the game can save the earned result. Version 0.6.3 addresses an error in which those recovered runs were rejected and says the runs rejected for that reason have been saved.

This change concerns the result and earnings. It does not say that a player can resume fighting at the exact interrupted position. If you are checking a missing result, return with the same identity, read the save message and check run history, progress and leaderboard status separately. See the save troubleshooting steps.

Stronger result-integrity checks

The announcement says edited gold and zones completed without damage being dealt are rejected and can lead to account suspension. This is a change to the original game’s enforcement, rather than a guide-site account feature. Keep gameplay and save data unmodified; report a legitimate result problem through the original game’s reporting options.

This guide cannot determine the status of a particular account or overrule a result. A recovery issue and a moderation decision need different information from the player.

Beta 0.6.2 — 18 October 2026

In-run Training rewards now have a floor. The notes say each later Training reward provides at least one third of the amount provided by the first, rather than eventually dropping to zero in a long run. This is the repeatable in-run reward after the normal upgrades are completed, separate from the permanent Training Lab card that gives +4% damage per purchased Lab level. The change does not establish one universal best build; compare a late-run reward with the immediate problem in that run.

More mouse bindings are supported. In Settings → Keys, actions can be assigned to middle click, right click and mouse side buttons. Check your own binding before using a guide’s default key.

Auto-walk is limited to the current run. The default T action has a visible active state and switches off when moving backwards. This is useful when diagnosing unwanted continued movement.

The patch also fixes attack effects remaining on the next run’s map and a Save to account form issue that could erase typed text. For graphics and account-save symptoms, use troubleshooting.

Beta 0.6.1 — 18 October 2026

One free move slot should no longer hide upgrade choices. The update restores the complete card offering when only one new-move slot remains. This does not remove normal requirements: the source, level, League ownership and free slot still matter. Use the move requirement checker to separate those prerequisites from an old card-display issue.

Guest progress is retained after Exit and re-entry. The notes address a specific guest-progress loss. Do not respond to a save concern by immediately deleting all browser storage; first check the current version and return through your usual identity.

Capture and control fixes affect active runs. A target being caught should no longer disappear because the player evolves nearby. The patch also corrects a Friend Ball label, overlapping pause-menu items and arrow-key or gamepad input moving upgrade cards on its own. The unlock guide explains the normal challenge-to-capture sequence.

The big-map key can be remapped, and the move-source display now shows the teaching Pokémon’s portrait and name. That helps connect the shared-kit rules to the actual member you need.

Recent changes that still matter

Earlier map exploration behavior changed again in 0.7.0

Version 0.6.0, dated 17 October, made the large map and minimap reveal explored space instead of exposing the guardian altar, portal and remaining points throughout the zone. That is historical behavior: 0.7.0 explicitly restores the guardian altar, shrine and portal to the large map. Use the current objective markers rather than treating the older exploration rule as the current instruction. A missing destination should be checked against the current map, version and scene state before concluding that it failed to spawn.

The same release fixes mobile home-screen flicker associated with battery saver. Treat that as the scope of the announced fix, rather than a claim that all low-frame-rate scenes have been resolved.

Recovery saves earnings rather than restarting the battle

The 0.5.7 announcement introduced recovery after the browser closes, reloads or loses connection, including earnings from shinies. Its other additions include the large map, more configurable controls and graphics options, viewable move lists and run builds. These systems provide useful places to inspect your own choices before another run.

Graphics can hide your own attacks

Version 0.5.6 adds Settings → Graphics → Hide my attacks for smoother play when effects crowd the screen. That option is worth trying before invasive troubleshooting steps. It changes presentation; it is not a move unlock or Lab purchase.

Check your version and affected guides

The original game shows the version below its logo; selecting it opens the version notes. Compare that number with this guide’s baseline before applying a fix intended for an earlier build.

Source and dates

This is an independent summary of the original game’s in-game version history, through Beta 0.7.1. The 0.7.1, 0.7.0 and 0.6.4 entries were read on 19 October 2026 from their published configurations; all three carry an original release date of 18 October. The 0.6.4 source and the earlier 0.6.3-and-older material remain identified with their own observation dates. The saved mechanics dataset still records 0.6.3, checked 18 October. The page revision date does not imply a new patch on that date or continuous update monitoring.
